Content : Labconco offers biosafety cabinets appropriate for all biosafety level environments. Class II Type A2, B2 and C1 biosafety cabinets can accommodate BSL 1, 2, 3 and 4 (with appropriate PPE), and Class I biosafety enclosures offer personnel protection for applications that do not require product protection. The Logic+ Class II, Type A2 and Type B2 biological safety cabinets provide personnel, product and environmental protection from hazardous particulates. Type A2 cabinets recirculate HEPA filtered air, and Type B2 biosafety cabinets duct 100% of filtered air to the exterior. The Axiom Class II, Type C1 is the first biological safety cabinet that can be used in a recirculating Type A-mode for standard microbiological work, or can be connected to an exhaust system to function in Type B-mode for handling hazardous chemical vapors or radionuclides. The Axiom is an R&D 100 Awards for Innovation Finalist. The Logic Vue Class II Enclosure is designed for liquid handlers, cell sorters and other automated instruments that can create biohazardous aerosols. The Cell Logic+ Type A2 and B2 biosafety cabinets have features specialized for cell culture work. Options include heated work areas and/or sash modifications for safe pass-through of microscope eyepieces. Our Class I biosafety cabinet and HEPA filtered enclosures provide personnel and environmental protection and are ideal for procedures that generate fine dust, handling suspicious mail, or weighing hazardous powders.
